Wearables in Practice Symposia are organized frequently – about twice a year. The Symposia allow professionals who work with wearable biosensors to come together and present their findings to each other and/or to share their experiences applying Wearables in their field. So far, the Wearables in Practice Symposia have attracted people who work in care, (mental) healthcare, forensics, the safety and justice domains and scientists from affective computing and health/clinical disciplines. This community facilitates knowledge transfer and collaboration between researchers, practitioners, policy workers, designers and others who work with Wearables in practice.

During lunch and drinks at these Symposia, there is ample opportunity to get to know each other, ask questions, exchange information and ideas in order to bring our field forward both scientifically and in practice.
